Denis Grafe

Denis Grafe, born in Bad Urach in 1992, studied drama at the Folkwang Universität der Künste in Essen and Bochum. While still a student, he featured in the production of Viel Lärm um nichts (Much Ado About Nothing, directed by Simina German) at the International Shakespeare Festival in Essen, which was invited to Palestine as part of an exchange programme with the Ramallah Drama Academy. His first engagement led him to ETA Hoffmann Theater Bamberg in 2018. From 20/21 he was a member of the ensemble at Schauspiel Leipzig, where he worked with directors including Elsa-Sophie Jach, Enrico Lübbe and Nuran David Calis. As of the 25/26 season, Denis Grafe is a member of the ensemble at Thalia Theater.
