Franziska Machens

Franziska Machens, born in Hildesheim in 1984, studied drama at the Otto Falckenberg Schule in Munich. While still a student, she worked with Alvis Hermanis at Schauspielhaus Zürich, where she was offered a permanent engagement after graduating. In 13/14 she moved to Deutsches Theater Berlin, where she worked with Anne Lenk, Jette Steckel and Anna Bergmann, among others. As of the 25/26 season, Franziska Machens is a member of the ensemble at Thalia Theater.
