
Lisa Hagmeister
Lisa Hagmeister, born in Berlin in 1979, studied drama there at the Hochschule für Schauspielkunst Ernst Busch. After an engagement at the Düsseldorf Schauspielhaus, she joined Thalia Theater, where she worked with directors including Andreas Kriegenburg, Nicolas Stemann and Michael Thalheimer. In 2010, she began her long-standing collaboration with Jette Steckel. In 2008, she received the Boy Gobert Prize from the Körber Foundation and in 2019 she was awarded the Theatre Prize Hamburg – Rolf Mares for her portrayal of Selma in Dancer in the Dark, based on the film by Lars von Trier (directed by Bastian Kraft). She was nominated for the 2020 German Film Award for her role in the film Systemsprenger (Director: Nora Fingscheidt). Lisa Hagmeister has been a member of ensemble at Thalia Theater since the 06/07 season.
