Sandra Flubacher

Sandra Flubacher, born in Zurich in 1963, was a bank clerk before she studied drama at the Hochschule der Künste in her native city. After her first engagement at the Schauspiel Köln, she moved to Schauspiel Frankfurt, later to Theater Bonn. During Jürgen Flimm's tenure as artistic director, Sandra Flubacher joined the ensemble at Thalia Theater, where she has since worked with directors including Ruth Berghaus, David Bösch, Andreas Kriegenburg, Anne Lenk, Luk Perceval, Kornél Mundruczó and Bastian Kraft. In 1991 she was awarded the North Rhine-Westphalia State Prize for the best newcomer. Since 1993, Sandra Flubacher has been a permanent member of the Thalia Theater ensemble.
