Tim Porath

Tim Porath, born in Hamburg in 1975, studied drama at Otto Falckenberg Schule in Munich. While still a student, he made guest appearances at Münchner Kammerspiele and Schauspielhaus Zürich. From 2000 to 2005, he was a permanent member of the ensemble at Schauspiel Hannover. This was followed by guest engagements at, among others, Deutsches Schauspielhaus and Thalia Theater in Hamburg, Schauspiel Hannover, Schauspielhaus Zürich, Schauspielhaus Bochum and Schauspiel Köln. In 2008, he founded the music-comedy trio NORDKVARK (which won the Prix Pantheon in 2010). From 2014 to 2017 he was engaged at the Maxim Gorki Theatre in Berlin. Since the17/18 season, Tim Porath has been a member of ensemble at Thalia Theatre.
